What Is Disney Plus?

Get Free Disney Plus Accounts -  is a video streaming service owned by Disney. It is similar to services like Netflix, Apple TV + and Amazon Prime Video, as it is a video on demand service with a library of movies and TV shows that can be viewed at any time and on a wide range of devices. It was announced in September 2017 and was finally launched on November 12, 2019.

It is currently available in the US, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. Disney Plus will launch in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain on March 31, 2020.

Although it doesn't have as many movies or TV shows as Netflix, Disney Plus is the exclusive home to a significant portion of Disney's huge archive of content, and it's the only place to watch the company's new footage, like the Star Wars series. , The Mandalorian, and the next content from Marvel Studios.

A Difficult Start

And as for the content, is Free Disney Plus Accounts great? Technically superior? The truth is that not so much. On launch day, many users experienced problems connecting to the new streaming service. Even people who were able to enter reported frozen images, categories that refused to upload, and many other problems.

All these problems have been solved a bit. And of course !: With more than 10 million subscriptions on launch day, some problems were inevitable, but the Disney Plus user interface still needs some work. As we have noted, the Disney Plus search function is fundamentally broken. Features like the ability to jump to shows you've been watching directly from the home page are missing.

That said, it is still early days, and things seem to be getting better. Recently, Disney added a play indicator to show how far from a TV show or movie it is to the Free Disney Plus Accounts web interface, as well as a button so you can resume the series or movie where you left off. We hope those features will roll out to other devices soon. It is clear that Disney is dedicated to correcting the shortcomings of Disney Plus. At the moment, however, the app is not yet completely “fine-tuned”.

What Devices Are Compatible With Disney Plus?

Disney Plus is currently available at:

  • iOS
  • Apple TV (tvOS)
  • Google Chromecast
  • Android
  • Android TV
  • Playstation 4
  • Roku
  • Xbox One
  • Some Amazon Fire TV devices
  • LG Smart TVs
  • Samsung smart TVs

If you own an Apple device, or have one of the many smart TVs and streaming devices that have the Apple TV app, you can subscribe to (and watch) Disney Plus within that all-in-one streaming interface. Disney Plus also supports in-app purchases on Apple devices.

How Much?

The service is priced at $ 6.99 a month at launch, or $ 69.99 a year (don't be surprised if that price increases quickly). But there is more to the story.

Disney Plus is not the only Disney streaming service. Thanks to the acquisition of 21st Century Fox, Disney also controls Hulu, and if you want to subscribe to both, you have good options. In addition to the independent Disney Plus service, Hulu Senior Vice President Craig Erwich says he will also be able to get Disney Plus as an add-on to Hulu.

Like other plugins, like HBO, subscribing to Free Disney Plus Accounts through Hulu will mean you will have to use the Hulu app to watch shows like The Mandalorian and Falcon and Winter Soldier, but it also means that you can keep all your series in one place. If HBO is an indication, Disney Plus should cost the same, $ 7, whether you get it through Hulu or on your own.

Also, if you want Disney Plus, ESPN + and Hulu, Disney will offer a package that will include all three. The package will cost $ 12.99 a month, $ 5 cheaper than subscribing to all three separately.
The service offers 4K resolution with HDR support in its initial presentation, but news from Disney's D23 Expo gave moviegoers and A / V fans even more reason to get excited. As confirmed directly by Dolby, Disney Plus will offer content in both Dolby Vision - Dolby's dynamic version of HDR, which squeeze the best contrast from each scene - as well as Dolby Atmos support - which provides a surround sound stage for those with compatible hardware.

How Does Free Disney Plus Accounts Compare To Other Streaming Services?

While Dolby Vision is becoming more common, both Vision and Atmos remain rarities, backed by only a few services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, and only on select content. We don't yet know what content will feature any of Dolby's A / V enhancements at Disney Plus, but if its streaming rivals are an indicator, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos will likely only be offered for newer original series, like The Mandalorian, and others.

In addition, Free Disney Plus Accounts will offer four simultaneous streams of its service on multiple devices at the same time, for its base rate of $ 7 per month.

Programs And Movies For Disney Plus

After months of speculation about what will become part of the Disney Plus streaming service, the company has finally confirmed a long list of shows and movies that will be available to subscribers. The announcement was made through a video posted on Twitter that somehow manages to run an extensive list of modern, classic, and all-new content that Disney Plus subscribers will be able to see on launch day.

The video message says “It arrived. The. Time. From Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, to The Mandalorian, this is basically all that hits #DisneyPlus in the United States on November 12. ”

The Disney Plus Twitter account then proceeded to give each of the projects that will be available on launch day their own post after the announcement, allowing their fans to be wistful with some of the classic offerings at the service's launch.

Original Productions

Several original Star Wars projects were developed for the Disney service, including the first live-action series from Star Wars The Mandalorian, which follows the adventures of a gunfighter from outer space shortly after the events of the original Star Wars trilogy. . A trailer for the series, which was created by Iron Man director Jon Favreau, was recently released and has some important similarities to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. The first season of The Mandalorian will have eight episodes, and a second season is already in pre-production.

An Obi-Wan Kenobi action series is also being prepared, with Ewan McGregor confirmed to reprise the role he played in all three Star Wars prequels. At the D23 Expo in August 2019, McGregor said the miniseries (still untitled) will run for approximately four hours and that production will begin in early 2020. The show will take place at the same time as Solo: A Star Wars Story, when Obi - Wan Kenobi hides on Tatooine and protects young Luke Skywalker from afar, opening the door to all kinds of interesting stories.

In addition, Free Disney Plus Accounts will air a still-untitled Rogue One prequel on the subject of rebel spy Cassian Andor and his reformed imperial security droid K-2SO. Both Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk will reprise the roles they played in Rogue One.

Finally, a new season of the award-winning animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars will debut on Disney Plus in February 2020.

As for Marvel, Disney Plus will include (at least) seven action series directly linked to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all of which will feature established MCU actors. In the fall of 2020, Falcon and Winter Soldier will continue the ending of Avengers: Endgame by showing what happens after Sam Wilson took over Captain America's shield. In the spring of 2021, Loki will tell us the story of the trickster god of the alternate universe who escaped with Tesseract during Endgame's time travel antics, while Wanda Vision will help Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In the fall of 2021, Hawkeye will see Clint Barton train his replacement, a young woman named Kate Bishop.

Later, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight will introduce some new heroes to the MCU, though all three characters should be familiar to true Marvel acolytes. Kamala Khan, Jen Walters, and Marc Spector are expected to join their MCU co-stars on the big screen once their respective series have debuted.

An animated series called What If? It will explore what would have happened if certain events in the MCU had happened otherwise. For example, the first episode will explore a world in which Peggy Carter - and not Captain America - receives the serum from the super soldier, transforming her into a heroine named Captain Carter. Almost every major MCU actor will reprise his characters on the big screen, though Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Pratt don't appear to be on board. What if? It will last 23 episodes, one for each MCU movie so far.

Other original Free Disney Plus Accounts series include Muppets Now, a "short-form unscripted series," Monsters at Work, a cartoon based on the Pixar Monsters, Inc. franchise, a Toy Story 4 spin-off called Forky Ask a Question, a rebirth of Hannah Montana, and other action series (live and animated) for adults and youth. Certain Fox titles, including Home Alone, are slated to remake Disney Plus, while several unscripted series and original National Geographic content are also in the works. You can see the full list here.

Disney Plus will also feature a huge collection of pre-existing content, including new Disney movies like Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker and the live-action remake of The Lion King. Avengers: Endgame will not be available on Disney Plus at first, but will be there before December 11, according to Disney financial reports.

Almost all of the movies in the Disney catalog - eventually - will be available on the service, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger, including all the animated movies previously locked up in Disney's "vault." The only exception is Song of the South, which Disney has buried since the 1980s due to its racially inappropriate content (a racist scene from the animated Dumbo for Free Disney Plus Accounts will also be removed).

How To Get Free Disney Plus Accounts

Approximately 7,000 episodes of television series and 400 to 500 movies are expected to be available on the service when it launches, including some of the aforementioned shows and movies. If we compare it to its biggest competitor, Netflix, that's not much. According to a study by the research firm Ampere Analysis, the total of Disney Plus television programs only represents 16% of what Netflix offers. Netflix's movie library is also eight times larger than the Disney Plus launch line. In terms of absolute numbers, Disney Plus is on par with Hulu, Amazon Prime, CBS All Access, and HBO Go.

However, in no time, Disney Plus will be the only place where you can find some of the largest entertainment franchises, making it a must-have for fans of Star Wars, Marvel, Disney Channel or classic Disney animated cartoons.
